4K Fail: Why I Completely Hate TCLs Cheap 4 Series HDTV (A Piece of Junk)
Despite some very serious concerns about who makes them—and the illegal financial support they receive to build TVs at too good to be true prices—U.S. consumers love TCL TVs. In fact, they also love their other consumer products like soundbars and what appears to be some amazingly foldable smartphones.

I listened with interest to your impressions of the article panning the TCL 4 series. I have owned a TCL 50 inch for about three weeks and I feel that I have an amazing television. When you factor in that I paid $250 for it at Walmart, It is also an amazing value. The TCL replaces a 32 inch sharp in my den so by comparison, it is night and day! My den is bright and the television performs beautifully. The built-in Roku allowed me to neatly install the TCL to the wall with a $30 dollar Amazon wall mount. I have enjoyed an amazing picture watching movies, sports and streaming live TV through YouTubeTV with no additional equipment. The only cord is the power cord. I am just amazed how much television I got for my dollar.
Hey guys. Love the podcast! In response to the person needing to accommodate someone who is hard of hearing in the room. My grandfather has this issue. I used an HDMI audio extractor with HDMI passthrough to hook up a Bluetooth headset for him. It's pretty inexpensive and does the job. Here's a link to a product on Amazon.
