24 Moving to NBC?

I read an article over at The Ausiello Files that 20th Century Fox may be in talks with NBC about moving the show over. The author feels that a move over to NBC would delay any feature films with Jack Bauer...

Our question to you is:

Is it time for 24 to hang it up?

Would you be interested in watch Jack Bauer in movies?

Chime in and let us know what you think.

Rumor was that it is on the bubble. If Fox doesn't want it anymore, I suppose it could move. I guess I thought it was dead back on the season when his daughter was too stupid to get her foot out of a rabbit snare. But yet, it came back. It's a premise that rewards quality writing. As long as they can manage that, I'll track it down to watch.

Drop it. We get it. It's over. And it's getting ridiculous.

I must admit that, although I still watch it, I wouldn't be too upset if they just called it a day :-)

24 needs a reboot. Its lost its way, there's no tough decision making anymore hence no consequence hence no drama....

Stopped watching last season. No further interest.

I agree to either cancel it or ditch Kiefer. It is getting pretty hard to believe he can pull some of that stuff off. He's almost 44 years old - running backs are done in the NFL after 30.

Put some one else in the lead role next season and see how it does, if it fails then it fails. It really shouldn't go on as it is anyway.

CTU is the most powerful anti terrorism agency in the country - unless you're a parole office - then you have more pull

I'm a late adopter of 24. I only started watching it regularly last season. I'll definitely catch up on the older seasons if a network plays them frequently like A&E does with old Law & Order episodes. So I'm ambivalent about any new 24 seasons as most of "days 1 through 6" are unknown to me. I don't know if a 24 movie would even work, it would almost certainly have to break from the real-time element that makes the TV show unique & would likely end up as just another typical action movie that could have starred Nicholas Cage or Matt Damon instead of Kiefer Sutherland.
