With regards to why buy a Boxee Box when Roku and Apple TV are half the price. I'm pretty sure the Roku doesn't, but does the Apple TV play ripped DVD's from your local movie library? I'm still looking for the perfect solution - one that does Netflix and all the local media files you can throw at it. (VOB or ISO included).
