Disney DVD to Blu Program

Got an email from John telling us about a new program from Disney that allows you to upgrade your DVDs to Blu Ray. You even get to keep your original DVD! Its done through an $8 rebate but it all helps. The site is located at http://www.disneyupgrade2blu.com/ which was down at the time of this posting. 

Not too many titles to start but more will come in the near future.

Review: RedEye Universal Remote Control

If you have spent any time listening to our show you know how important we feel universal remote controls are to a home theater system. Our remote control of choice is the Harmony line of products made buy Logitech. The Harmony remote is an IR remote that needs a line of site to your equipment so that it can manage you activities like "Watching Movies", "Watching TV", or "Playing Games". If you are in another room with your remote you have to walk back to where the equipment is in order to control it. Early Black Friday Deal At BestBuy

Was in the Best Buy near work at lunch today, they've got the Sony Bravia 40S5100 marked down to $597, it's still $719 on their website and at Amazon. Good reviews, and dirt cheap for a Sony. Hmmm, pay the same price for a Dynex or Vizio, or get the Sony? Decisions, decisions....
 
Damn right, I grabbed that Sony and didn't look back.
